Treasury says it will monitor the introduction of a 12-sided one pound coin in the UK - and may consider one here in future.
Yesterday it confirmed the Isle of Man won't be following the UK by launching the new-look currency in March:
People will be able to spend the new coin on the Island - however it's led to concerns from some about the logistics of using it in things like ticket machines.
